I really liked how on slides 5, 8, 11, and 14 you used the same style of a faded background; it made the entire thing sort of fit together. Another thing that I loved was how on slides 6, 9, 12, and 15 you used the circle things to border your project; it made it flow too but I loved it because it was cute. The last big thing that I loved was the color scheme and how you did not just do it with the one car but all of them. I think that the project purpose came through very clearly and if I were to grade you your project would pass. The audio was a little boring but was clear and completed its purpose. Other than your audio I would have also used a little more interesting animation. For the most part your project was outstanding!
Making my intro and title slide was pretty easy. With my Title Slide I had the pictures of my four cars and at the beginning I really wanted to add some motion paths to the pictures when they entered. But, since it looked a little to complicated once it was done I just decided to go with some fade once it entered. My story slide was also pretty simple, I just wrote my story and had it sort of scroll in. The backgrounds on both of these slides are based off of the colors from all four of my cars because three of my cars are red and one is black/blue. My brochure was really fun to make. I went with the color scheme of black and pink and I’m really happy about how it turned out. The layout and design was really fun, because at the end there was space at the bottom so I just added some random stars and made them the right colors. My experience in power point was pretty good. The color scheme either went with the color of the four cars or on the features slides I took two colors out of the car it self (in Photoshop) and made the words and dots those colors. Now that I look back I really didn’t add so much real cool animation, but I like how it’s simple. I have to say that I HATED doing the audio narration.(And I bet Lauren was sick of hearing me say it a million times.) The idea was cool, but with mine I kept messing up half way threw and had to keep recording it over and over again until I finally did a half way decent one. I’m almost pretty sure that I could cut out parts of the audio and add new ones…But oh well. The most difficult part of this project for me was definitely the narration. I would read things wrong if I was reading them off of the slide or I would just kind of say them wrong. (For example Instead of saying “Porsche” I would say “Porch” And I have no idea why so don’t ask. This happened on my Porsche features page on the slideshow, and I was too lazy to re-record it because I was sick of recording it.) My overall reflection on my project is even though it’s not the most fancy project out there I really enjoy the simplicity. I had hoped that my audio would be funnier and not so bland but I think its pretty okay. I would have done the audio recording and the animation if I had the chance to redo it. I really do believe that the message “I’m sixteen and I’m trying to convince my parents that I can get a car” Came threw.
I really liked your slide show. It was very clever and realy creative! all of your picturse were really cool! except, i thought you could have talked a little louder. Your slides were put together really well and i liked the music you choose for your credits, it was a good choice. It all fit together really nice, and it definately showed that you were ready to get a first car. Your animation was great and was always right on perfect timing. There were some pretty great explanations and it was very convincing. So, overall, i really think you did an awesome job.
Sammy: I thought your project was really thought out and I like how you had the same color schemes. It made you project easy to read. I didn’t ever get bored while reading yours and that is hard to not make me bored. I like all the cars you chose. I like how you made it sound like you weren’t reading and you were actually saying what you feel. I like how you described you cars and I thought it was a smart idea choosing the car you did. It really fits your personality. All in all I thought you did great!!
I thought your PowerPoint was very interesting. I really liked how every thing flowed, from your color scheme. I also liked how you added special features of each car, I thought that was really creative. The slide that was really interesting to me was when you choose your car. You explained it well and the sun and the tree gave it a great touch. I also think you explained each slide well and got to the point. I think it was good that you didn’t just read off the slide too. Next time I think you should put a little bit more animation in the PowerPoint. I think it would have made it I bit more interesting, over all I thought it was great!
